Describe yourself as a vendor – What do you do for our couples?

I am a super fun person who can be both serious when I need to be and also the life of the party! My job is to make the couple feel like the two most important people in the world that day and I love doing it!!

I started off over 12 years ago as a 2nd photographer for weddings and I did this for 4 years until I knew I was ready to enter the field as the main photographer. I took classes at the college and lots and lots of on-line training. I have photographed well over 300 weddings, most local but there have been a lot of out of town weddings in Baltimore, PA, VA, NJ and Jamaica!!

What was your inspiration to start a wedding business?

I first started photographing families and was asked by another photographer to 2nd shoot at weddings with her and I quickly fell in love with weddings. I love the fast pace of a wedding and also how they are all so different and unique. I never get bored of weddings!!

What type of couple should choose you? What makes you unique in the industry?

I make couples very relaxed with my personality and style. I love to have fun while keeping it very professional. My edit style is a very natural look. My turnaround is very speedy and I give lots and lots of images. I feel like the couple misses so much of their day, so I love to give so many images for them to look back on.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day?

I have so many favorites parts of a wedding, I love the getting ready moments with the bride and her mother. First looks with the dad are always so special. Portrait time might be my favorite because I get that alone time with the couple with no distractions around us! Ok but wait then the party time comes and well I just love that part too!!! LOL

Do you have tips for couples who are planning a wedding?

YES YES!! Make sure to work with your photographer or wedding planner on the schedule. You should always make sure you have enough time scheduled. I would say out of the 35 weddings I average a year only 5 are on time!!

I also think engagement shoots are important because it is a great way for you to get to know your photographer and be more prepared for your wedding day and working with them!

What feedback do you hear most from couples about you and your services?
I have been so blessed with all the couples I have had and I have never had a bad review or anyone who was unhappy. I do my best to make sure that all my couples feel special and important because they are! I spend lots of time and care editing couples images to give them the quality they are paying for. My couples love the packages I send with their contract and lots of goodies and to the gift they get with their flashdrives!

What can couples do to partner with you in making their day perfect?

Let me help them plan the schedule! I also give them lots of suggestions even sending them a wedding list book. I would love the opportunity to capture YOUR wedding!
