Tell us how your love story began. What are your favorite things about each other?

Tyler and I met Online on a dating app called Hinge. Once we met we knew we found our person. We were together 2 years before our engagement and 2 more before our wedding! Tyler proposed outside of Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore and of course, I said Yes! Our favorite things about each other are the way we communicate and understand one another.

Why did you choose Castle Farm as your venue? What were you looking for in a venue?

We chose Castle Farm as our venue because we wanted an elegant farm vibe. Castle Farm has so many options on where you can hold the ceremony. It gives you accommodations for both the groom’s suite and the bridal suite. The Castle Farm team treats you like family they make sure the day is all about the bride and groom.

What was the most memorable part of your wedding day?

The most memorable part of the day was having our family and friends celebrate this special day with us. It was also a really special moment after the ceremony to spend time alone just the two of us to cherish the memory.

What was most unique about your wedding?

The most unique thing about our wedding is our takeaway for the guests. We had a custom charcuterie board with a brand of our initials and our wedding date for guests to have.

Please describe your color theme, decor and florals.

The wedding colors were various shades of sage green for the bridesmaids with the maid of honor in a tan floral dress. The groomsmen were in grey suits. The flowers were white and hints of peach with greenery. We used Alison at the Altar as our wedding planner and florist. Our guest favors were charcuterie boards with our initial and date branded on them.

Is there anything about your day that you wish you would have done differently? Do you have tips for other brides who are planning a wedding?

Make sure you have food after the wedding because you forget to eat during the wedding because of everything happening so fast, and talking to guests while trying to dance. I recommend having food set aside for after the wedding.

Take your time to enjoy the day. It goes by so quickly you should take a moment to let it all sink in. Especially take a moment at the altar to look at all the people who have come to see this moment.

What were the favorite moments for your guests? What feedback did you hear most from your guests?

We heard from a lot of our guests that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that the venue was immaculate and so unique! Also, our sentimental details showed and it was just the right touch and people did love the moon bounce!

Who was your caterer? Please tell us about the food and service at your reception.

The Street Kitchen catered our wedding. The food was awesome and the late-night French fry bar was a hit. They were awesome to work with and were able to accommodate anything we needed! They are great for a rehearsal dinner too.

Did you attend an after-party? Where did you spend your wedding night?

Tyler and I spent our wedding night at Castle Farm in the newlywed suite. It’s a cute little studio apartment connected to the bridal suite. Most guests stayed at the hotel where we had our guest room block. We honeymooned in Riviera Maya Mexico and highly recommend taking one day in between the wedding and honeymoon!
